Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the PC and click it in iTunes
- Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
- Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
- Click “Apply” to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access “Contacts”
- Select the desired contacts and go to “Settings”
- Click “Export vCard”
- After the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
- Connect the LG device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once done, send the vCard to your own email address as an attachment
- Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
- Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
