NOTE: You can check this thread for instructions on how to back up app data, contacts, and media.

Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone management”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the backup file you want to restore, then tap “Start” > “Done”

NOTE: You may be required to reboot your phone in order to complete the restore.

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone management” > “Backup & reset”
  3. Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the backup you want to restore and tap “Start”
  5. When prompted to “Restored” tap “Done” and reboot your phone if necessary

Restore Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the media file backups you want to restore and tap “Start”
  5. When prompted with “Restore completed” tap “Restart” to confirm and finish the process

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Copy the media file backups from the computer
  5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) from where they originate
  6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
