NOTE: You can check this thread for instructions on how to back up app data, contacts, and media.
Restore App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Phone management”
- Tap “Backup & reset” > “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup file you want to restore, then tap “Start” > “Done”
NOTE: You may be required to reboot your phone in order to complete the restore.
Restore Contacts:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Phone management” > “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup you want to restore and tap “Start”
- When prompted to “Restored” tap “Done” and reboot your phone if necessary
Restore Media Files:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Phone management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Restore from backup”
- Select the media file backups you want to restore and tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restore completed” tap “Restart” to confirm and finish the process
Restore Media Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Copy the media file backups from the computer
- Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) from where they originate
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
