Now, at that time the 9600 was still newer, so bitpim was not really supporting it all that well. So every once and a while i would check for an update. Finally i have the most recent version, and it will not work with bitpim. Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm only 15, and I have a question about the Glimmer. (quite a name, huh?)

Anyway, I've had a problem I've yet to resolve:
Every time my phone rings, it starts out really quiet, then progressively gets louder. I just want it to be loud so I can hear it first, not a fade in.

I've checked about every setting possible and I'm losing hope.
I hope I can get some feedback.

Thanks,
I am trying to get an mp3 file to my lgvx8600 and to my wife's enV. We are Verizon customers. We do not have any way to connect our computer to our phones.

The verizon dude wanted me to buy a $40 music essentials kit. I find 2 things on ebay. First, I find his kit for $10. Second, I find USB data cables for $4.

Which do I need if I want to move mp3 and wav files from my computer to our phones?

Thank you,

Hi,

I'm new here (just found this place of google), and I accidently broke my phone earlier today. Basicly I "accidently" threw it out of anger at the ground, and then the outher case kinda broke... Yes, very stupid, and very long story why I was so angry. Getting to the point, the phone works right now (I can dial numbers, access all menus, blah blah ect.), but both screens are blue and I can't see anything... When It first happened niether screen would light up, and the phone would not make any Noises or anything. The only thing that would happen was the numbers would light up. I am a cell phone noob I would say, but I have worked in small scale RC cars and such, so I decided to open it up and poke around. I poked around a bit, put the battery back in, and turned it back on. As soon as the phone warmed up and turned on, it worked fine except the screens were blue... Now I am just wondering what I should do... Any help?

Thanks,

1) What are the encoding restrictions for the enV's normal mp3 player
It seems the phone refuses high bit rate, vbr and foreign language tagged files

2) Is it possible to increase the maximum number of text messages stored in the inbox and sent. My enV started warning about the inbox be 80% full with a meager 45 or so messages.
This is a huge contrast from my old motorola v325 which was well past 300 messages in both the inbox and sent without any warning.

Hi,

I am trying to use an unlocked LG Trax on T-Mobile in the US. The voice dialling/voicemail works fine.

I am having trouble setting up the phone to send MMS messages. Clearly the old ATT settings do not work, but I am able to send SMS without problems with those settings selected as the MMS message centre (The T-mobile SMS message centre has the appropriate number in its own settings).

I have used to T-Mobile Online configurator to set up MMS, but when I change the MMS Message Center to the T-Mobile settings I've received, even my SMS editing gets broken:

When I try to type a character of a new message, I get an information box that says "Max size exceeded" and I am unable to type. I am also unable to insert anything apart from a subject for the message.

My settings for the MMS Message Centre are below.

Does anyone have any ideas?

MMSC URL: http : // 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
(note: the anti-spam engine is blocking me from sending above link, i have inserted the spaces around http)
MMSC Proxy: 216.155.165.050
MMSC Port: 8080
Connection Mode: TCP with Proxy
Network Profile: T-Mo MMS

The settings for Settings/Connection/Network Profiles are

Connection Title: T-Mo MMS
Bearer: GPRS
Authentication: No auth
Username: blank
Password: blank
APN: wap.voicestream.com

Hello, I have the Verizon EnV..

I have been to the Verizon store several times, telling them my problems with this phone.

I have been having troubles with sending and receiving pictures messages on this phone. My plan supports this feature, I have also gotten a new EnV today because of this problem. I should have tested to make sure it works before I left, but I didn't and I am still unable to send or receive messages.

I know it's not the phone itself as I have had problems with both EnV's I have had.

If anyone has any cluewhat the problem is I would appreciate any help because it's kind of annoying to have a phone with a great camara and not able to use it.

Thanks.

I have 2 used LG VX5200 for Verizon that I am giving to a friend and I would like to know how to clear the phones of all my personal information, just like the way they were when they were new. Should I call Verizon or is there a simple code or set codes I can enter?
Thanks and sorry if this has been addressed somewhere else, I could not find it when I searched your forums.
