I found this forum after i had resolved my issue and thought it would be nice to let others know how to fix a similure problem. Please keep in mind, i am leaving out parts of the story that i find irrelevent.

Problem: Every time i try to access my camera, the phone would reboot.

Issue: The phone was connected to a computer, where data was migrated from an older phone to this one on the memory stick. The camera worked before this opperation. All photos are taken and stored on the memory stick.

Resolution: I removed the memory stick, and accessed the camera. This time, the image appeared on the screen, however a messaged was displayed informing that i cannot save to a non-existant memory stick. i changed the settings on the phone to save to the phone, and took a picture successfully. I put the memory stick back in, and the phone did not reboot. i changed settings on the phone back to storing photos on the memory stick, and the phone restarted it self. after a fairly exaustive search on this problem, i could find no answers. I flashed my phone to reinstall the OS, but when i tried to access the camera, the exact same thing happend. I reconnected my phone to a different computer as it had been now weeks since the initial connection, and backed up the data on my memory stick and wiped it clean. when i accessed the camera this time, i was able to see an image, took a picture, and the picture came out perfect. i put my backed up data back on the memory stick, tried again, and bam, the phone restarted itself. I repeated the steps above, and and this time went through all my files from the phone to see if any of them were corrupt. i noticed a lot of duplicate items in my pictures as well as my ringtones. i removed all duplicates, then put the data back on my memory stick. This time, i was FINALLY able to take a picture with my camera and not worry about the camera restarting my phone.

I hope this helps anyone who has an issue with their camera restarting their phone. If you do not have a W350a, i expect that this procedure should work for any camera phone that has an expandable memory slot.

When I try to put in my mobile number to register at the site it says invalid number and for me to put it in the International Way. I am from the US and do not know how to put it in the International Way. Could someone please help me with this.

I just got an unlocked C905 and for my purposes, it does everything I could possibly want, except for one thing: It automatically scales down all of my INCOMING picture messages to very small files (160 x 120 pixels). I have tried to send myself messages from other phones, including my own, and email where I knew the file size I was sending was about 100kb and about 500 x 800 pixels, but when I received it on my phone, it was down to 5kb and 160 x 120.
I contacted my service provider and made sure I have the proper MMS, and I updated my software to 2.9.11.10. I also have the latest firmware (R1FA035).
Is this something I will have to live with?

hi, my sony ericsson k550i mobile's some of the keys like 2,5,0 and the call/anwer key is not working for some time and again start working of its own, i don know what's happening, is this a software problem??

I just got the w350a on an upgrade from at&t. It worked great for about 30 days and now it stopped receiving call or making calls . You get a network busy when you try to call out. If someone is calling in they get unavailable. At&t has sent me another phone to replace it and I still have the same problem. I have jumped through hoops for 4 days now. They have reset the phone, checked the imei, sim car # etc and nothing works, right after they reset it you can make one call and receive one call then it abck to network busy. Does anyone have any clues or do I just give up o the phone?:flamemad: I have taken the sim card and put it in another phone and no problem with anything so sim card is okay.

I already installed SphinxBase, PocketSphinx and so on in Ubuntu Linux. Now I'd like to install it somehow on Sony Ericsson k750i. Can anybody help me how to run examplary application (HelloWorld.jar) on mobile phone? It looks like it may be somehow different than other applications.

Ive just got this phone today and I am stuck at the setup wizard screen. I press the green button under next to get to the next part and nothing happens. Is it something im doing wrong or is it faulty?

Why does SE have there two lines, why not just incorporate the best of there two into one awesome line. I understand that the one is a walkman line an the other focuses mainly on the camera aspects, but incorporating the two into one awesome line would be great. Please tell me your thoughts. Thanks

Hi there.

I'm having problems with my w890i, it resets its self sometimes, when i'm on a call or just using it in general. Is there a problem with the phone? Wat should i do? The screen goes blank then it vibrater once an the red light on the back turns on. If anybody could assist? Thanks

Hello, I am new to the forum. I am sure hardly anyone uses these phones anymore, but I really like them. I currently have three, but only one works. Here are my questions:

My current service provider is ATT. Two of my 226's are Cingular phones. The other one is an older ATT Wireless, before cingular merger.

My current ATT sim card works in both of the Cingular phones, but when I try to use it in the ATT Wireless phone, it will not start up and says "insert correct SIM card" - will the newer ATT sim cards not work in pre-cingular phones? Or, is there another problem going on that I am not aware of.

One of my Cingular 226's has a problem where it freezes up. You put in the battery, the screen comes on, you can make calls, but then the whole phone freezes up and you cannot do anything to restart it but remove the battery. Then, you re-power it up, and it will do the same thing again after making one call.

Also, can you get a USB cable for these phones? I have a CommuniCam, but don't know how to get the pictures out other than emailing them, which is expensive. Can the photos be transferred to the phone and then pulled out on a USB transfer?
