Just got my new 2010 ford escape and tried pairing my samsung vice (sch-r561).
My phone says its paired and connected but the vehicle says its paired but cannot connect. When the vehicle tries to connect my phone states that it is entering the service area but nothing happens and won't connect.
Anyone else having this issue?

Hey all ! My first post ! Sadly, for a bad reason...

I have a Samsung A523 phone on Telus... The warranty just expired last month (of course) and now my speaker doesn't work... Let me explain.

I flip up the phone. I dial. The timer appears, so i know the call is connected. But I can't hear anything... No dial tone, no voice, nothing. I tested it with my home phone, and the other person can hear me, but i cannot hear them... Except...

When i activate loudspeaker mode, still no go... except if i flip the phone down (normally hangs up, but when speaker is on, it doesn't). When the phone is closed (flipped down), the speaker works.

Is there any way to open up the phone and fix the possibly corroded contact ?

Or another solution ?

SGH-E250. On vodaphone unlocking to BT sim. I have unlocked a new phone but on going through the *#74625625# action all are unlocked apart from the 'SP Lock' is still active. Any help appreciated please.

So i get quite a few multi-media txt messages. I have my phone default memory to save to card, however when i view the MM txt, then go to options, and save, it saves it to the phones internal memory.

is there a way to have them automatically go to the card like they did in the original alias?

Have always used Samsung phones because of the facility that allows you to password your text messages inbox.

This facility is available on the Tocco Lite but it only seems to work once when you turn the phone on and then you can access the inbox freely which isn't much security at all if you lose you phone or have it stolen.

Does anyone else have this problem and/or know how to make the requirement for a password permanent?

So I dropped my phone in water yesterday, and now the phone does 1 of 2 things. If I take the battery out and put it back in and turn it on it will either get stuck in a reboot loop at the end of the loading bar screen or it comes up with an all black screen with lettering in the middle that says DOWNLOAD. am i screwed?

I preface this by saying that I was at one time able to sync my phone with my pc, but I have been trying to sync my samsung epix recently and just can't get my vista 32bit pc to recognize my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled modem drivers and wmdc a dozen times, (following samsungs directions to a "t"), and wmdc still shows "not connected". I have tried changing the settings in the phone, and pretty much followed all of the directions I could find on the net. the closest I get now is "connecting" on wmdc. Eventually it gives me an error message. The thing I don't get is that in the wmdc connection settings, it does say "connected" when I have the usb to pc "enable advanced network functionality" unchecked. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, or even if someone can point me in the right direction.

I bought the Samsung Red Rant last year for Christmas. A few months ago my dad blocked data on my phone. I have unlimited messaging which included picture mail, now I can't send OR recieve pictures.

And also, how do I get ringtones on my phone now? Everytime I try to bluetooth one to myself or download it from Myxer using the USB, it doesn't show up in the ringers section.
How do I fix these things?

Please help.

Is the Samsung Alias the only phone available to give me a keyboard and a flip phone?
