I do not know if this has been addressed before, sorry if its a double post. But I am wandering if anyone has an aircard and if they have tried to share a connection with it. Sprint makes you load this SmartView software that bassicly makes the connection. It also detects if you have another computer trying to access the connection from your laptop. It immediatly shuts off the connection untile you remove yourself from that network. If anyone has done it, what does it take to bypass that, and allow two computers to share the same connection.

Im running Vista and its an 595 Sprint Card

Hi All:

I currently have Sprint. We live in an extreme rural area - the middle of the Shawnee National Forrest, about 35 minutes from Carbondale, IL. We go in and out of the regular service area, back and forth through digital roam. In the driveway of our home, our phone automatically goes to digital roam and we have max signal strength. When we get inside, we're not on roam, and then we have maybe 0 - 1 bar. We'd like to drop the good ole landline, but can't risk not being able to connect with emergency personnel. So, how do we determine which service providers tower we are using when we switch to digital roam? Or the 3G network the answer? We currently have old fashioned Razr phones.

Thanks!!

Denise

Does anyone know how much it costs to drop a single (not main) line from a family plan? We have about a year left on the plan I think. I went kayaking and my phone got wet; now it gets stuck on the "turning on" screen. I was going to get my own phone and plan after the family plan expired anyway, so I'm wondering if it would be worth it to do it early. How much is the early termination fee for a line on a family plan if the family plan itself isn't being canceled? Is it still the obnoxious $200?

Every now and then, my cell phone will reject a text message. It has happened when I was roaming at first but recently it has been happening randomly when i am at home and have full service. I have a Samsung Highnote. When this happens, a warning sign comes up that says "New message rejected, not enough Data." It is frustrating because all I can do is turn off my phone and turn it back on and then wait for the message to come in again. It is very inconvenient and i would appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on how i can take care of this problem.
