I just added a line to a Nationwide Family plan, the 2100 minute one with unlimited IN calling. Problem is whenever I call one of the other lines in my family plan I'm getting charged anytime minutes (according to #646, 611 and My Account Online)... I got this line because I was sure these calls would be counted as IN calling and be free. It seemed to count them as IN calls for the first week. Verizon support just keeps telling me to wait for the monthly statement before they can help. Is this normal? will my usage estimate fix itself in a few days? I'm calling from CA to MI; both cell phones have MI numbers. Does this have something to do with roaming? Do they think I have a "fixed wireless device" (I have an LG VX6100 cell phone) because I only use it in the same area? This is driving me nuts; I can't afford to be stuck with a huge bill at the end of the month if these are all going to be charged as anytime minutes.

Hey all, I am due for an upgrade and I cant decide on which phone to get. The new ENV2 is nice, i saw it in the verizon store, real smooth feel to it and a nice spacious keyboard. I like it but, verizon is releasing the Blackberry curve next week and I dont know which phone to get. The downside to the black berry is the $30 monthly data plan verizon makes you get with the phone. Is it pointless to get a blackberry curve if I don't really need it for e-mail or any other business type purpose? Also can i drop the $30 a month unlimited internet plan after a month or so and not have to have the fee?

-Suggestions please. ENV2 or BB Curve?

Hi, all:

We are full-time RVers and use a Verizon aircard and an cellular signal amplifier we bought from maximumsignal.net (who we recommend..good products and service). We are currently in a location where we seem to get great cell phone coverage but the broadband data rate is suddenly very slow. Specifically, in our last location we were getting 1700-1900 KPS down (truth!) and now we are getting less than 200. Can't figure this out...is the broadband signal a different animal than the cellular signal somehow, so that it's coverage may not be as good in an area as the cell strength? (Verizon says we have Broadband Access in this area). Is there any way to test how well the amplifier itself is working, other than the bars on our phone and the dataspeed? (I can never tell if it's working or not.)

I've had a blackberry 8830 for about a year now. Its a great phone indeed, but I really don't need internet access from my phone (nor the bill that comes with it) I'm looking for a normal phone that has GPS navigation, basically one with maps on it. That is basically my main concern. So if anyone has some recommendations I would really appreciate your input.

They do not have a release date or at least not one they wish to share with the general public. I am wanting to hold out for this phone, but can't wait much longer due to company rules (discounts). I see a few available on eBay for way too much $$.

Does anyone have any idea when I can actually purchase this phone through Verizon and renew my contract?

I don't particularly like any of the other available phones. I don't like the look/design of the current LG EnV and the Voyager has gotten poor reviews and my iPod Touch does all that stuff better anyways. The EnV2 is small, compact, with a full keyboard for my texting needs. I won't be using any Get It Now features except to download some ringtones and I won't be using the Internet. I currently have the LG VX8700.
