I dropped my cell phone in a mop bucket on Saturday when I went to get it out of my pocket. I removed the battery right away and let it dry. When I tried it on Monday and this morning it sometimes wouldn't do anything or it would show the Verizon logo and not load anything. The water damage indicators were both red on the battery and phone. I ordered a new phone through my Asurion phone insurance and they sent me a new phone. However when I tried my old phone tonight it turned on but you can still see the water inside.

Should I still send my phone back or call them and ask what I should do?

I bought my LG Dare from a friend, before buying it I was planning on going to get a plan with Cricket. My friend offered to Flash the Dare to Cricket for free, so ofcourse to avoid fee's that Cricket may have charged me I jumped on the offer. So today I went to Cricket to set up my plan and the guy there said that my house was just outside of their network. So I decided to get a plan on Verizon, I went to Verizon and they said that there was nothing that they could do unless I were to get the phone unflashed. So anything that can help, please, this phone is brand new, friend tried it for a day and didn't like it. I would hate to have to get rid of it all because of something like this.

I have the LG DARE........... I dont know why but my out box only hold about 50-57 messages while my inbox can hold up to 210..can anyone help me fix this problem?:flamemad:

So I've been using Rhapsody (I uploaded my library to Rhapsody from ITunes) to load my music and it works ok, but has an issue.

The song, artist and title make it ok, but the album and genre information seem to get lost somewhere along the way. But, on my ipod, I often just listen to a genre, so not having the genre information has been a considerable irritance. I suspect the root of this may lie in different file formats of the songs. Is there a quick/easy fix to get the dare music player to recognize the information in these songs?

Is there anythng i can do with this phone to use it witn virgin mobile?
