"No, no! I have all Macs in my office and at home. My kids have ipods in

they do it is Apple comes out with a new bottom of the line model with twice
the features for less than what you paid for your top of the line model (see
early iphone buyers ) then comes out with one with all the bells and
whistles at a higher price, so that you look at your old one like it is two
cups tied together with a string. That way they entice the person who is new
to drugs...er...phones with low prices and hose the
addicts.........er.........loyals with newer higher priced stuff. Steve Jobs

Considering the recommended hardware to run Autocad -- at work, we sold a
computer spec'd specifically to run AutoCAD 2007 -- I'm surprised you're able
to do ANYTHING with a DWG on a WinMo device.

Last time I was in South Florida (where I am originally from) in
December 2006, I roamed onto AT&T AMPS with my Verizon phone out in the
Everglades. Kind of amusing that the AT&T GSM customers had no coverage
at all out there, nor did the Verizon customers with digital-only
phones. Now of course, presuming AT&T turned off both of their AMPS
network, Verizon and AT&T have equal coverage out there, which is none.

But as to the reason Verizon is not hampered by 1900 MHz in those
markets, it's probably because you don't have the kind of local
opposition to towers you have out West.

In an effort to get iPhone to sell in Chinese, and I assume other script-
based language countries, HWPen is bringing handwriting recognition to the
crude iPhone finger input capacitive screen.

How you're going to write with that huge, calloused forefinger on that
little tiny screen should be hilarious to watch with no pointing device..

The User Agent hack is very useful in my area because the free municipal
WiFi provider requires that Windows users install and launch MSN
SideGuide in order to access the network. It's an extremely annoying
program that slows down an already agonizingly slow network, plus uses a
lot of CPU power on the PC (when I used to launch SideGuide, everything
slowed down, and the CPU fan on the notebook would come on).

With the Firefox User Agent Switcher add-on all you have to do is make
the WiFi network think you're on a Mac or on a Linux machine, and the
requirement for SideGuide is eliminated.
