Ok so my phone contract with Bell is about to expire and I am going to have to part ways with my Nokia 6275i. so what would a good smart phone be for a 16v year old University student? I have two Ipods so I'm wondering if an IPhone is really worth it or not. I tend to drop phones a lot so what would an efficient phone be?

If you play video game as much as I do, which is a lot, you'll probably want this app. I found Game Center late last night and dl'd spontaneously cause it's free. I didn't have a game reference on my iphone yet and this is exactly what I was looking for. Thought I'd share with my fellow cellphoneforum members cause it's not listed in the app forum.

Was going to post some screenshots but can't because im new but it's got a News feed with game videos and Game listings (about 5,000 games) that has user reviews, game description and spec, also its pretty cool how it even has game controls and cheats for each game too.

I have a first generation iphone and hated the att service so i would like to just use it as an mp3 player but when i turn it on it tells me i have to activate an att account first. I have tried it with or without the sim card with no luck!!! any ideas?

I lost my Iphone this weekend in another state and am confident that I will never see it again. I suspended service and all that jazz, but does anyone know if there is some way to remotely retrieve data (number, pictures, etc.) from the phone without physically having it? I figure, since the phone has GPS and internet, it may be possible for either ATT to retrieve the information or for someone to do it from a computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Part One: How to rip DVD to iPod

First, click "DVD to iPod Converter" on the main interface to run DVD to iPod Converter.

Step 1. Open your DVD Drive and put your DVD in it, then click "Load DVD" and choose "Load DVD" to load your DVD into this program.

Part Four: How to create iPhone M4R ringtone from your own video/music

First, Click "iPhone Ringtone Maker" to run iPhone Ringtone Maker software

Step 1: Click "Browse" on the right side of "Input File" to import the file that you want to make ringtone from it.

Step 2: Play it and listen the music to find the segment that you want to use it as ringtone. Then drag and click the start & end slider to set your wanted segment, or type the start & end time in the corresponding text box directly to get the exact segment. You also can pre-listen the converted audio before generate.

Step 3: Click "Browse" on the right side of "Local Output Folder" to choose the output destination.

Step 4: Check "Export to iPhone" option, the converted ringtone will be load to your iPhone directly.

Step 5: After all the settings are finished, click "Generate" to begin making your own iPhone ringtone.

Have been trying to get the SportyPal application (walk, run, bike tracker) to work with the GPS. Finally it worked, i downloaded the newest version 1.0.1 and this time the application was able to acquire GPS signal within about 30 seconds. It's really nice looking app. I would recommend to anyone that likes to run or cycle with the iPhone.

I do not have an iPhone. My wife has an iTouch. If you click on link for a You Tube Video, how does it show up? Does it take you to a You Tube site, or does the video come up and fill the screen?

Regarding iphone unlock, there are a few very convincing clips on youtubes. But does it really work?

I restored my iphone with latest firmware 3.1.2. it stuck in emergency mode.

I was calling Apple to get it fixed. But I did it by myself while I am on the phone with the tech.

What I did is to go through the process of restoring with iphone again to the latest firmware available through itunes. Then, RESTART my computer and connect it again to the itunes. It is activated through itunes. Before I just nevery restart computer and connect it again.

I am desperately in need of help. Here is my situation.

I have iPhone 3G on SW3.01
The power button stopped working a while ago but I was always charging it in time and surviving with the use of Home Button only. Today, I wanted to Jailbreak it so I tried Ra1n software which puts your phone into recovery mode before jailbreaking so it did. It was probably unable to jailbreak so the software froze however my phone was in recovery mode and since the power button doesn't work, I had no way to kick it out of that mode. I tried LIB program to get it out of Recovery loop but no luck...iTunes was not recognizing it so I left the phone alone for a bit and battery died...

Now I plug it into power charger or computer, the screen shows no activity... Is there any way to get it going without getting the power button fixed for now ????
