This copycat design by China looks just like an iPhone but it's not. It's actually the PinPhone 3GS and has a lot of the same physical characters that of the iPhone except you will not be able to access the iTune Store from it. For the Chinese customers who can't afford the real deal, the PinPhone 3GS may be there next option.

I am considering a Jitterbug as a Christmas gift for my mother. Have you had any experience with this phone? Would you recommend it? Or is there another "senior friendly" phone that is better?

I was considering getting iphones for my kids as Christmas gifts....until I found out that the data plan is $30 per phone on top of the text messaging plan, minutes, etc. and there is NO family data plan for these phones. I have 2 kids in college and 1 in high school so it would be an additional $90 a month for me. Is it really worth it?

There's a new worm out and it affects jailbroken iPhones running SSH that uses the default password. It copy's data from your email, SMS messages, photos, music files along with other info that you may have stored on your iPhone. This worm does not give any clues that your iPhone has been invaded. The best thing to do to prevent this from happening is change your password if you jailbreak your phone.
