Help.

My LG Chocolate is being flipping stupid. When I try to call out to someone on it, it doesn't ring and I can't tell if they answer. The phone will play the turn on and off sounds, but that's it. I can't play any music on it. And for some reason, when I try to hang up by sliding the phone shut, it won't do so, and yes it is set to hang up when I close the cover. I've had this phone for over a year and have only had this problem once, but it stopped doing it and went back to normal (not sure why). I might also add that when I am called, it rings, but I still can't hear anything when I answer.

Hey I found an LG Chocolate 2 phone, I don't know if it's K4600 or KG9000 whatever, but it looks just like this picture here so I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

But this phone is locked, I guess the person that lost it called in and had it manufacturer locked and needs a four digit code I believe.

Now I looked at the "How to Unlock your Chocolate" thread but I'm not sure if this phone will work for that method, if it does tell me and I'll go do it

Will that method work or do I have to do something else? WHAT DO I DO? I'd really appreciate if someone could help me! (Would Custom firmware work as a last resort?)

If there's a way to avoid buying a phone - computer adapter thing that'd be cool, but I'll get it if it's significantly easier.

I did a bit of searching before posting this but couldn't find anything about the problem I'm having, so if I missed another thread I apologize.

I've had a LG Chocolate VX8550LK for about a year. Tonight it started randomly turning itself on and off. Now when it turns on it's like the phone is completely wiped. All of my texts and contacts are gone. In addition the display says Service Required. Anyone ever run into this problem before or have any idea why the phone would get totally wiped?

it's not the charger because we have 2 chargers and neither work. for awhile my phone would only charge if i held it in there a certain way, and that worked for a few weeks but last night it stopped charging completely.

if i put my battery in a different phone will i still have all of my data like texts? and could i transfer my texts and stuff to a different phone?

i have important stuff on my phone and it would suck to lose it :/
any help?

okay well um i have an lg chocolate phone and like it died so i went to go charge it and plugged it in and usaully it says charging but right now it just shows the one verizon sign/logo like when you turn it on..... and it wont like work when i press the power button it just stays at the verizon sign.....SO PLEASE HELP
