Can I use the Palm Pre with Boost Mobile plans?
Would any apps not work?

I have a treo 700w from Verizon. I got it awhile back and I didn't get insurance and 1 day the phone went into flight mode and wouldn't come on. everything else works fine.. but it kinda sucks having a phone that doesn't make calls. Well i tried everything to fix it like doing a hard reset, turning off and on bluetooth, taking out the battery and putting it back on, doing soft resets, holding the power button, clicking the button the out of flight mode button, bringing it to a verizon technician, and even installing WM 6.1 on it hoping it would fix the problem, but no matter what i do It's still stuck in flight mode!! if anyone has some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. I need to have a phone that I can sync to my Vista Home Premium (32 bit) home computer. I have a family plan with Verizon. Can I buy a phone that will sync with my computer on Verizon, but without getting a data plan? What phone?

Can anyone simply tell me if it is possible to transfer MP3's directly from my my PC to my 700P? HOW? What do I need? Windows Media Player 11 is not working. It doenst' recognize the device.

I am new to this. Can any one tell what it is?

I am trying to update my phone with the 'Software Update 1.07 (Windows installer) for Centro for Sprint' and am following the directions at this site:

I get past step 1 (connecting my phone to hot sync and backing up my data; however, in step two, when I try installing the file:

Centro_1_07_SPNT_desktopupdater.exe,

after clicking on "start update" I get the message "Device Connection Failed" even two seconds after it was just connected to hot sync. I tried again with my wife's phone and it worked with no problems. Then I tried again with my phone and got the same message. I don't understand what the problem is because my phone is connected with hot sync and the directions from the website worked for my wife's phone (we both have palm centro)... Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? I want the update so I can use 'my location' on google maps.

Hows everyone today!?

Well.. Before I start ranting I want to inform yous that this is my third Palm Treo Pro so far in 3 months.... Going on the fourth.....

I purchased the treo pro upon release ( I would say late february.) I was upgrading from a palm centro (great phone, loved it.). The first week was amazing with this phone, it does EVERYTHING I need it to do, GPS, email, messaging, schedualing... everything awesome..

The first week went by and all of a sudden when ever I would recieve text messages the phone would lock up and freeze on the standby screen (where the time and date is displayed) and I would have to wait until the phone un locked itself for me to view the message (this would take about 2 minutes). Okay... I said whatever because it rarely did it. After that, the main buttons stopped working and I was forced to use the touch screen. This would also subside after a couple minutes. Thats when it started really locking up and freezing. Upon recieving a message the phone would lock up and I would get a white screen with lines running through it, again with about 2 minutes it would un lock itself. Now this started to happen more and more frequently. The ringer wouldnt shut off when I viewed a new message, I would have to switch over to vibrate then back to noise to stop it. So I call up sprint and they replace my phone with a brand new one... Then I get the same problems with the second phone, and now the third.......

Great phone, I love it to death with its stylish sleek look. the qwerty keyboard is awesome to use and the phone does everything! I just wish it would work 110%.....

What I'm wondering is if anyone else has had these issues on their treo pro? Because I'm getting fed up with this non sence.

Evernote allows you to “capture experiences and inspirations instantly as they occur, and then find them whenever they want.” You can do a text and create snapshot notes which in turn allows you to edit those notes as well as existing text notes, and then search through them.
