ok so i havent registered my device yet... and i dont know if i want to yet because i might not want to keep it... so i was wondering is there a way to go into the phone witout having to make a palm profile?

I have successfully loaded mp3's into audio files and assigned as ringtone but no sound plays. The mp3 plays fine from Pocket Tunes but it won't play as a ringtone. Any suggestions?

I recently bought an unlocked Palm Centro for use with T-Mobile. I have an unlimited text messaging plan and want to use AIM on the phone. The problem is, all the AIM clients I found use data. I do not want to be charged for data usage because I do not have a data plan. Are there any AIM Clients for Palm that use SMS to send messages instead of the internet?

According to Verizon Wireless and their tweets on twitter, Verizon has announced that they plan on launching Palm Pre early next year, but doesn't specify how early next year or an exact month or date. Maybe we will hear more later on from Verizon and their tweets.

I still have service with Verizon for my Palm Centro. I am, however, trying to sell my Palm Centro and probably switch carriers from Verizon to AT&T. I would like to delete my cell phone number from the Palm Centro so when I sell it, the person who buys doesn't have my service on the phone. I am trying to unlock my Palm pro and multiple websites ask for imei numbers. I have an meid hex, an meid dec, and a s/n number. none of them are 15 characters long. the phone will not display a imei number when prompted by the *#06#. Which of the above numbers should be used, any help and recommendations and where and how to unlock my phone would be appreciated.
