as prepaid with verizon? Please help a.s.a.p. Thank you.

So my prepaid Alltel phone is now merged over to Verizon I believe. I can no longer check info from alltel it sends me to Verizon. My phone is going out on me and if anyone is familar with the verizon site there is an option to Change your prepay phone by entering the New ESN/MEID. So my question is if I go out and buy a new preapid verizon cell phone will I be able to enter its esn/meid to work for me?

Why can you not download ringtones on the AX840 Tritan phone and use them for ringtones for your contacts?

Is there anything I have to do to my phone when Alltel hands over the reins to Verizon?

Since I cant just go into the Alltel store and pick out a phone any longer, I'm looking on ebay - what is a good non-smart phone (no data) that will sync my contacts and calendar?

I have a Dell Latitude D400 XP laptop. I connected my alltel UM175 modem into the COM3 USB port on the side, installed the software/driver.

Now when I go to connect, everything runs smoothly for about 5-8 minutes. After 5-8 minutes I cannot NAVIGATE THE INTERNET. Access says I'm still connected, but I can't navigate anywhere on the net. I have to reboot the laptop and get another 5-8 minutes. After that time, I have to reboot again.

If I am downloading a big file, I can stay connected for hours. I just got done downloading a game demo that was 678MB, took about 5 hours, and I never lost the connection. About 20 minutes into the download, I tried getting onto firefox AND internet explorer: I couldn't navigate. I couldn't even get GOOGLE to show up. Only a white screen.

I also have a Vista home premium 32-bit desktop, and I have 0 problems with alltel on it. I can navigate the internet for hours and never get a white screen.

Does anyone have any advice on why my XP laptop is being so difficult?

I also have tried connecting my Xbox 360 to my desktop and sharing internet with alltel. Works great. But when I try it with my XP laptop, I can get on Xbox LIVE for about 5 or 6 minutes, then it says I lost the connection, even though Access says I'm still connected.

I am trying to block text/pic messages from a Samsung SCH-r500 Hue phone. I have dialed the 8888 then B <space> then the #. Now if I text the number I just blocked, does that automatically unblock that number and now you are able to receive messages from that # again? Then do I have to reblock that#???:ah:

I used to have a smart phone and didn't pay for the data plan with Alltel. That phone broke and so I got another Alltel smart phone from a friend. Verizon rep tells me there is no way to activate it without the extra data plan charge now with the Verizon merger??

Ok, I am part of the Alltel that, for some reason, could not move to Verizon. I read on alltel . com I will be moving to AT&T. a few questions:

1.) When is this going to happen? Anyone know?

2.) We have two lines, and we pay around $100 a month for the main line (#1) being data, and (#2) my line, regular, unlimited text for both, MyCircle 15, and like 600 minutes shared. If the same (similar) plan, but with two data (iPhone + Blackberry) is around the same price, I will be the iPhone mentioned in parenthesis. Possible?
