TELUS is committed to delivering an exceptional client experience. For consumers, we are
introducing a new suite of Clear Choice™ plans with no SAF or carrier 911 fees. TELUS is also simplifying the number of rate plan options, making it easier for clients to choose the plan that is right for them. Full rate plan details will be distributed on November 5th.

Existing TELUS clients can continue to renew on their existing rate plans or have the option to switch to the new clear and simple pricing at launch.

Want to see how it works? Here’s a comparison of a typical current rate plan structure and one of our new Clear Choice™ plans, with the same number of included minutes and options.
Commencing November 5, a $30 plan actually costs you less than a $25 plan did, when you
take away the Systems Access Fees (SAF) and carrier 911 fees—plus, you get voicemail 3 included in the price!

I am using my Blackberry Pearl at school in the US. I've never had a problem with it until this year. Out of nowhere, my text messages will stop coming in and I have to call Telus and sometimes they can push them through right away but usually they can't figure out why they're "stuck" and have to log tickets. This always takes about a week to fix. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm very annoyed at this as it has happened 6 times since mid-August. As I said, i did not have a problem until this year. I pick up a Verizon tower here. Is it Verizon or Telus thats causing the problems? I can still make outgoing calls, BBM, send text messages...the only problem I have is I can't receive them. Does anyone know what is causing this problem or a quick way to fix it without having to wait weeks? Thanks

Hey ive had issues with telus for some time now...I had a phone before that stopped receiving text messages but they convinced me that it was my phone and that i would need to get a new one to fix it. Now i have a new phone, new 3 year contract and i'm having even more problems. It sometimes takes me an hour to receive a message or for my friends to get my messages. I am fed up and i would like to cancel my contract. The problem is ive heard that it costs about 700$ to cancel. Is this true? Do you think that if i say the right things i can get them to bring the price down? I have been told that I could.
