My question is, would an HTC Snap unlocked would work on Telus network?
further more,
Would a Telus HTC Snap would work on let's say, Rogers network?

just curious as to whether anyone knows if an unlocked iphone will work on the telus network when they launch there new network.....not sure how this works as it is not actually gsm but similar? Telus will still use the cdma from my understanding....has apple built a compatible phone or is it in the software somehow?:confused:

i've been searching on the web and now i'm really confuse.....

I'm planning on buying xmas present for my friend, a blackberry tour, because his phone is not working properly anymore and he's still stuck with his telus plan (1.5 years to go).

I've seen a few blackberry tour on craigslist and they are unlocked.
Question is can i but the unlocked phone and use it on telus network?
What if the blackberry tour is from bell? will it work on Telus?

I am using my Blackberry Pearl at school in the US. I've never had a problem with it until this year. Out of nowhere, my text messages will stop coming in and I have to call Telus and sometimes they can push them through right away but usually they can't figure out why they're "stuck" and have to log tickets. This always takes about a week to fix. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm very annoyed at this as it has happened 6 times since mid-August. As I said, i did not have a problem until this year. I pick up a Verizon tower here. Is it Verizon or Telus thats causing the problems? I can still make outgoing calls, BBM, send text messages...the only problem I have is I can't receive them. Does anyone know what is causing this problem or a quick way to fix it without having to wait weeks? Thanks

Recently, I have tried to call a long distance good friends telus phone from my at and t prepaid phone and I get a message saying 6uv2 number is not in service. Anyone know what this 6uv2 means?

Hope you people can help me out. I won a Blackberry Tour from a Telus dealer (its says Telus on it). Ive got a contract right now until mid next year with Bell and don't want to buy it out. I want to make use of this phone by switching it over to my Bell contract. What do I need to do? Will getting it unlocked allow for me to get it hooked up on my existing Bell contract? Somone told me these two CDMA networks are not compatible with each other...

November 5th is the determined date of the launch of HSPA for Telus. Along with the launch of HSPA comes new handsets and they include:

iPhone 3G and 3GS, which will have the same price tag as Rogers ($99, 199, 299 for 8 GB 3G, 16 GB 3GS and 32., HTC Hero, LG New Chocolate (BL40), Blackberry 9700 and Nokia E71.

I want to buy a HTC Touch-DUAL with no operator and i would buy a Telus SIM Card to operate it. After a test that i see on ehPhone.com (iPhone), this card work in a CDMA network. Does the HTC Touch-DUAL works with CDMA networks?

Hey ive had issues with telus for some time now...I had a phone before that stopped receiving text messages but they convinced me that it was my phone and that i would need to get a new one to fix it. Now i have a new phone, new 3 year contract and i'm having even more problems. It sometimes takes me an hour to receive a message or for my friends to get my messages. I am fed up and i would like to cancel my contract. The problem is ive heard that it costs about 700$ to cancel. Is this true? Do you think that if i say the right things i can get them to bring the price down? I have been told that I could.
