Hey,
Hope you people can help me out. I won a Blackberry Tour from a Telus dealer (its says Telus on it). Ive got a contract right now until mid next year with Bell and don't want to buy it out. I want to make use of this phone by switching it over to my Bell contract. What do I need to do? Will getting it unlocked allow for me to get it hooked up on my existing Bell contract? Somone told me these two CDMA networks are not compatible with each other...
Thanks a bunch!

My daughter lived in Victoria. Last june she had to renew her Bell Cel phone contract. As her company had aproached her about possibly being transferred to Manitoba, she specificaly asked the Bell sales rep if they had coverage in Manitoba. The reply was that yes, they did have coverage in Manitoba. She just moved here to Manitoba last week and finds that Bell does not have any cell coverage in Manitoba. She called Bell and they affirmed that they do not have coverage in Manitoba. She requested that they cancel her contract as they do not provide service here. She was told that it was not their fault that she had moved out of the coverage area and she is liable for the whole three year contract, even 'though they do not provide service.
Anybody else had a problem like this? Anyone have a solution?

Hi. I am currently with Bell, but my phone is messing up big time. I have an unlocked phone that I want to switch to but I am not sure how. I know that with Rogers phones all you need to do is put your SIM card into the new phone and it should work. However I am unclear about whether Bell phones work the same way. If someone has an answer that would be really great!
